In order to meet HEMORIO’s mission, “provide high standard health services in hematology and transfusion medicine for the population of Rio de Janeiro State” programs and projects are developed to preserve the organization’s standard, the quality of patient and donor care, to promote new technologies and education in hematology and transfusion medicine.

Raising the necessary funds to maintain all the programs and projects is the role of Pro-Hemorio Foundation. It raises alternative funds with enterprises, non-governmental organizations (NGO) and persons who want to help.
